The Changi: More than Just the Airport of Singapore
October 28th, 2009 by Caroline
There is not really another one like it in the world. Singapore businesses have long been known and respected for their efficiency, their professionalism and their customer service, and the the Changi Airport is no exception. The airport is known for their schedules running on time, one of the best systems of check in and baggage delivery, and more than anything else they are known for the quality of their customer service. Located in one of the most modern buildings today, one will find everything they need as far as relaxing restaurants and gardens.
Entertainment and shopping the airport has much more going on the just arrivals and departures. Whether one is waiting for a connecting flight or booking a charter jet, the wait will be of no consequence when at this airport the airport is its own small city. Should one be feeling a bit of traveling stress, there are many licensed massage therapists and day spas to relieve that, and many of the services provided by them are offered twenty-four hours a day.
Also available everyday, all day long and throughout the entire night are four different movie cinemas that are offered free of charge to any passengers holding tickets. There are chapels for those of all religious persuasions as well as playgrounds and video game rooms for the children. Back to the gardens…the Changi Airport has more gardens located within the facilities than most small cities. There are six different gardens in all, including a Butterfly garden that is filled with flowers, and yes, butterflies.
All of the gardens are as well, open to the public twenty four hours a day, and are offered free of charge for all of those passengers traveling through the city. The airport is always on the top of the lists regarding passenger satisfaction, and many of the amenities are not only doing as they are intended, which is to provide relief from the long hours of travelers, but they have been noticing that more and more, people have been scheduling their connecting flights in order to give more time to spend in this incredible place. Amazing.
